POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Vice President for Institutional Transformation and Scaling, CCA is seeking a dynamic, talented, and energetic Project Manager to support the strategic and programmatic efforts of the Strategy Team, which includes the CCA Alliance Members and Institutional Transformation initiatives. The successful candidate must demonstrate adeptness at seeking knowledge, leading with innovation and integrity, advancing diversity and inclusion, engaging locally and globally, and embracing the responsible stewardship of resources.
The Project Manager will serve as the lead on matters pertaining to the coordination of activities associated with various projects, primarily the Complete College Accelerator initiative which focuses on facilitating institutional transformation for colleges and universities. The ideal candidate will have project planning experience and strong skills in implementation, execution, progress monitoring, and evaluation. The Project Manager will develop work plans to ensure alignment with CCA’s strategic priorities and project deliverables. The Project Manager will also prepare and present updates regularly across the organization, ensuring progress on strategic and programmatic efforts is being communicated broadly.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

An ideal candidate will possess the following skills, education, and experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent required
  • Four or more years project management and programmatic experience
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and with professional discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS EXCEL, Outlook, Teams, Planner, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficiency with and/or ability to learn new software such as Calendly, Adobe, and project management software
  • Excellent oral, writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills
  • Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written manner

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management and/or Six Sigma Certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, and external partners
  • Ability to work with a broad range of constituents/partners
  • Cultural-competency, cultural sensitivity and an unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion—personally and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational management, time-management, and critical thinking skills
