As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Project Manager (Fulfilment / Supply Chain / Logistics) to join our Fulfilment Strategy and Change Team on a permanent basis.

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join us at one of our Distribution Centre’s in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, or Harpole, Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with logistics experience, a passion for delivering projects and experience of managing complex change into multi-channel operations.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we’ve adopted hybrid working This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like! The on-site location for this role is at either our Distribution Centre ‘Alpha’, in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire or our brand-new Distribution Centre ‘Beta’ in Harpole, Northampton.

What you’ll be doing….

  • Working collaboratively across Fulfilment and the wider business to build and deliver an opportunity pipeline to help reduce our cost to serve.
  • Leading our systems change initiatives, ensuring change deployment with minimal impact to operations.
  • Defining the business outcomes and quantifying the benefits
  • Building compelling business cases, which meet internal payback targets.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement cross functionally and across all levels of the business to ensure priorities are aligned across the relevant business plans and are well sponsored.
  • Build clear communication plans for change initiatives, ensuring creative, clear, concise, and timely communication relevant to target audience.
  • Own project and programme timelines, identify interdependencies, and demonstrate drive to overcome any obstacles.
  • Implementation of effective and sustainable new ways of working across all aspects of Fulfilment
  • Working across Fulfilment teams to create simple reporting to demonstrate the end-to-end benefits or impacts of the projects. Align all stakeholders around the net benefits and ensure all budgets are updated to release any financial returns.
  • Conduct post implementation review, which ensures learnings are gathered and change amended accordingly.
