Project Manager (German-speaking)

We are now looking for an German-speaking and eager Project Manager to join Meriaura Energys growing Project Execution team in Vantaa. Meriaura Energy Oy designs and supplies turnkey clean energy production systems for industry and district heating. At the core of the energy production are large-scale solar thermal systems, which are implemented using efficient solar thermal collectors manufactured by the company itself.
As a Project Manager, you’ll be in charge of renewable energy customer delivery projects in Finland and in Central Europe where you’ll be responsible for the delivery of the project, from conceptual design to the end of the plant’s warranty period. Your daily tasks vary widely depending on the stage of the project, but your main duty is to manage the costs of the project and ensure that things progress according to the agreed schedule. Managing subcontractors and working closely with internal stakeholders such as sales, finance, and the design team are also key parts of your job. The projects typically last around 9-15 months and you may have several projects running at the same time but at different stages.
You might be the right fit for the job if you are an organized person who has previous project lead experience in industrial-scale investment projects responsible for contract execution of multi-million projects. You are used to handling multiple thighs at once and enjoy working with different stakeholders. Most importantly you have a positive attitude and drive to make things happen.In this role you will manage projects not only in Finland but also in Germany, so fluency in English and German is required.
