THE CLIENT:

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their experienced team based in Brisbane. Culture is vital to their success and they work hard to create the best possible experience for all employees, and additionally maintain integrity and trust with all stakeholders.

IDEAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in all aspects of project management
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Contract management & strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

You will be working on a fantastic array of projects across much needed Housing developments across Brisbane and the greater Queensland area.

  • Conducting assessments of project feasibility and budgetary considerations
  • Securing project teams through procurement, including design consultants, certifiers, and other necessary specialists to deliver a comprehensive design package for tender and construction phases
  • Formulating project procurement strategies and crafting detailed project delivery plans
  • Estimating project costs and implementing effective cost management practices
  • Managing the tender process efficiently
  • Drafting construction contracts in preparation for project execution
  • Creating appointment Deeds in compliance with WHS legislation
  • Administering contracts throughout project lifecycles
  • Supervising on-site building contractors effectively
  • Collaborating with the Director to identify expansion opportunities by cultivating a diverse network within the property sector
  • Delivering regular, accurate, and comprehensive reports to clients as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and statutory requirements pertinent to the role
