Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as ‘The Food Bowl of Australia’ as around 25% of the total value of Victoria’s agricultural production is generated in this area.
Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. Salary: $94,949.92 per annum

The Projects Delivery Department is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Project Manager to join the team on a 2 year contract. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for planning and managing the delivery of capital projects on behalf of Council.
You must have relevant skills and experience in managing delivery of a variety of different infrastructure projects at one time. You will have proven organisational skills, provide attention to detail and have the drive and ability to work under minimal supervision. The successful candidate must be able to adhere to strict timeframes and budgets, undertake accurate reporting and ensuring contractor adherence to specific contract requirements.
