Description:
Looking for a thrilling and rewarding career? Look no further than Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd (Vanpile), a premier construction company that has been building marine facilities along the coastline and inland waters of British Columbia for over a century! As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of complex construction projects, driving success from conception to completion. You’ll be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the daily operations for ground improvement projects, negotiating contractual agreements, and reviewing contract violations with sub-contractors.
We’re looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with a University degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and at least five years of applied project management experience. You should have a working knowledge of ground improvement techniques, deep and shallow foundations, earth retaining structures, and driven piles, as well as experience in working with subcontractors and vendors and managing schedules to meet deadlines. Most importantly, you’ll need to have strong coaching and mentoring skills to lead and develop more junior-level staff.
In return for your hard work, Vanpile offers a competitive base salary, eligibility for performance bonuses, RRSP plan contributions based on years of service, and a comprehensive benefits program. You’ll also receive an annual Wellness Allowance, flexible work schedule, and professional development. Join our dynamic, family-owned, and operated company committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and grow both personally and professionally. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to join our team! Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted, and we don’t accept or are responsible for any fees related to unsolicited résumés from agencies
