About The Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our next generation utilities billing software division in Auckland. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for scoping planning, organizing, allocating resources, budgeting, and successfully leading the implementation of Hansen products for the utilities market worldwide. You will work directly with our key stakeholders with our partners to define the project scope and objectives, identify, and manage the resources needed to meet those objectives, and accurately budget and track expenditures to deliver an on-time solution.
About You

You are highly organized, and detail orientated with proven experience as a Project Manager delivering software projects in an Agile environment. Experience in a similar role within vendor/hosted SaaS software product environment will be highly regarded. You will also have:

  • ability to coordinate teams across various geographies and handle multiple projects of various sizes & scope.
  • solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • proficiency in using project management software and productivity tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients in multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the project, which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget.
  • Carry out planning in accordance with the needs of your client, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles, and producing schedules and timelines for tasks.
  • Follow, provide feedback, and assist in improving delivery processes as directed by the PMO and the Global Head of Delivery.
  • Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of the project.
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.
  • Report regularly to management and the client.
  • Close the project - this includes evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans, budgets and expenditures (Jira, Excel, etc.)
