About The Role
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our next generation utilities billing software division in Melbourne, Australia. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for scoping planning, organizing, allocating resources, budgeting, and successfully leading the implementation of Hansen products for the utilities market worldwide. You will work directly with our internal and external stakeholders to define the project scope and objectives, identify, and manage the resources needed to meet those objectives, and accurately budget and track expenditures to deliver an on-time solution.

About You

  • Having extensive experience in leading and managing a project or a program as well as the ability to maintain a key strategic focus by effectively identifying, analysing and prioritising risks/issues external to the program and reconciling these with internal priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and skilled in using management tools like Jira
  • Demonstrated understanding of long-term planning concepts and approaches, and the value of visual planning.
  • Having the ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines, managing various tasks at once, demonstrating resilience to work in a constantly changing environment.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop, coach and empower a high-performance team.
  • Having a drive for continuous improvement - personally, professionally, and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the delivery of one or more projects or programs of work.
  • Leading people throughout the project and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Look after resource planning, project financials, delivering updates on the project progress, possible obstacles and deciding on risk mitigation actions.
  • Build, facilitate and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships.
  • Keeping things organised and interacting with counterparts from customer side.
