Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified or equivalent experience.
- Three to five years relevant work experience in project management. Experience in the not-for-profit sector is considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous quality improvement.
- Minimum two years of experience working in health or business administration or equivalent.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, working groups, and councils.
- Demonstrated ability to show potential impact and influence on key project participants and outcomes.
- LEAN six sigma certified is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of Dufferin-Caledon communities is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Initiates and plans assigned strategic projects including the development of scope, goals, and objectives.
- Develops project charters, work plans, project schedules, cost estimates and budgets as required.
- Engages key stakeholders to ensure project activities are executed based on plans and standards, within the specific scope, budget, and schedule.
- Executes, tracks and monitors progress of the projects while distributing the appropriate project information and updates to the Anchor and Collaborative Councils.
- Identifies improvement opportunities and escalates key issues; proposes and executes solutions as approved that achieve quality work and process improvements.
- Lead quality improvement activities at the council / working group level.
