Your Role:

The Project Manager is responsible for

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, particularly for testing and implementations stages.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet regulatory requirements and comply with industry best practices.
  • Identify and engage with key project stakeholders, including business units, Executives, and external partners.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Testing and Implementation documentation.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders, providing insights on project performance, risks, and achievements.
  • Ensure all project documentation adheres to the Bank’s established documentation standards.

About You

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:

  • Solid understanding of the banking industry, (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound technical specification writing/documentation skills.
  • An appreciation of both IT and business strategy.
  • Fantastic stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Passionate self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver who can operate under pressure.
  • Superior time management skills and commitment to timelines allow you to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Agile, (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall Project Management certifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience (IT and/or Business)
  • Minimum of 2 years in similar role or equivalent essential.
