We are looking for a Project Manager to help grow our business and contribute to our future.
The Project Manager is a key member of business strategic planning, leading, and organizing projects including the schedule of work and task delegation, managing employee through influence, and assign work. Reporting to Director, Enterprise Program Management Office, other highlights include:
Project Portfolio Consulting:
- Portfolio & Financial Management – Tracks, monitors and analyzes financial performance for all corporate project portfolios.
- Lead facilitator and authority on project lessons learned.
- Project Management subject matter expert.
- Relationship and service management.
- Reporting.
Project Management:
- Initiating, planning, managing & controlling execution and closing assigned projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Identifying Business Development opportunities.
- Leading, delegating and driving project teams to complete project deliverables.
- Establish validated key performance indicators (KPI), service standards (metrics) for the core products and services.
- Benchmark process and document best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis on business processes to identify gaps and improvements in process.
Benefits Realization Management:
- Lead corporate benefits realization reporting.
Project Portfolio Governance Management:
- As a team member, contributes to the overall management and improvement of Project Portfolio Governance and owns at least one governance aspect for improvement on an annual basis.
Change Management:
- Provide advice, methodology, tools, coaching, support, and assistance in the development of change management plans and processes.
- Research, plans, and implements specific initiatives to improve business unit efficiency.
- Facilitates the development of change management strategies, plans and materials to support successful change management.
- Develops change management training materials, user information and process documentation.
- Leads and facilitates change management planning and process management and mapping meetings.
Process Mapping:
- As required, actively participate, and facilitate the development of the end-to-end process mapping of ISC’s key processes.
- As required, facilitate the development of the end-to-end process mapping of key processes utilized by customers that have a linkage to ISC.
- Lead the development and use of metrics to optimize performance, productivity, and effective resource planning.
- Assess business process for compliance with process maps, operating procedures, customer standards, reasonable expectations, metrics, and education programs.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, or related discipline.
- Project Management Professional designation preferred (PMP).
- Change Management Certification preferred (Prosci).
- Training in Project Management principles and methodologies (PMI).
- Expert knowledge of system and process flows, including the ability to develop and analyze reports.
- Ability to organize, analyze and synthesize all forms of business and financial information.
- A wide degree of creativity, independent thinking and latitude is required.
- Facilitation skills.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project & Visio).
- Knowledge of management concepts and principles are needed to apply practical situations.
- This position requires management skills to ensure smooth operations of several related connected modules. This knowledge and skill are generally obtained through a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline and several years of progressive related experience.
- Formal training in root cause analysis or change management would be an asset.
