Description:
We are looking for an IT Project Manager with extensive experience in managing data center projects throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex IT projects, from initiation to closure, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgetary constraints, and timelines.
Job description include:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure efficient collaboration and communication.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and making adjustments as needed to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues, risks, and dependencies in a proactive and timely manner.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned and best practices to optimize project processes and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to data center operations and IT project management.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, technologies, and best practices, including networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
