Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Project Manager role leads and manages strategic, large and complex projects that resolve key business needs and deliver important targets. The role has responsibility for leading various types of regional and global complex project-based work including (but not limited to): Process transition and/or transformation, implementation and set up projects, process improvement projects. The Project Manager serves as a primary point of contact throughout all project phases/stages: Preparation, Planning, Execution as well as Closing and facilitates effective and efficient project portfolio management for business management.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing, leading and delivering large and complex projects. Lead project and functional management teams to achieve project objectives on schedule, quality and on budget
  • Provide the main interface and develop and maintain a confident and positive relationship with the customer, steering group, project owner and other participants in the project
  • Responsible for ensuring all contractual and technical obligations are fulfilled. Ensure that all external and internal technical/business requirements are resolved before delivery using perspectives and resources from within and outside the project teams
  • Deliver the project results as agreed with the steering group and apply advanced understanding of the company’s businesses to improve project cost effectiveness, apply change management, risk management and opportunity management principles. Promote company mission, vision and values throughout the delivery of the project/program
  • Plan, manage and coordinate all the activities during project execution, such as procurement, facility, human resources, functional representation, technology etc.
  • Lead project members. Challenge, guide, develop and coach project team members to continuously improve key skills; keep them challenged, while emphasizing a learning orientation and managing performance effectively to ensure that the business achieves its objectives
