Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor and control project as per contractual, client and QEHS requirements.
- Ensure smooth implementation of work progress so project can be completed on time, within budget and meet contractual & safety standards.
- Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance in terms of QEHS, schedule and cost.
- Define clear roles & responsibilities, and deliverable requirements of team members.
- Monitor construction productivity and provide recommendations for improvement to works.
- Preparation of site progress report and necessary documentation.
- Ensure that all project documentation including emails exchanges are maintained properly
- Report to management periodically on status of project in terms of QEHS, cost and schedule.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Posses degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent and safety certificates like CSCPM.
- At least 5-8 years experience as project manager in building project
- Able to work independently and lead project team
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Certified QM/ Conquas Manager would have an added advantage
