Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, monitor and control project as per contractual, client and QEHS requirements.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of work progress so project can be completed on time, within budget and meet contractual & safety standards.
  • Manage suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance in terms of QEHS, schedule and cost.
  • Define clear roles & responsibilities, and deliverable requirements of team members.
  • Monitor construction productivity and provide recommendations for improvement to works.
  • Preparation of site progress report and necessary documentation.
  • Ensure that all project documentation including emails exchanges are maintained properly
  • Report to management periodically on status of project in terms of QEHS, cost and schedule.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Posses degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent and safety certificates like CSCPM.
  • At least 5-8 years experience as project manager in building project
  • Able to work independently and lead project team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • Certified QM/ Conquas Manager would have an added advantage
