Responsibilities:

We are delighted to be introducing another Project Manager to our team, based in Miramar Wellington. This role is a full-time and permanent position.
Ultimately, you will ensure the smooth, safe and timely delivery of Thundergrid’s EV charging solutions and manage the delivery of EV charging infrastructure installations for clients. The goal is to help clients make the transition to cleaner energy systems in a safe and practical way and ensure all stakeholders are engaged and informed.

Your key responsibilities will focus on:

  • Creating infrastructure assessment reports to map-out charging infrastructure and explore the power capacity limits of the site.
  • Collaborating with installation partners to establish the cost, timeline, and optimum design for each project.
  • Working with electrical design engineers to establish formal plans.
  • Planning power management requirements.
  • Meeting with stakeholders and host ‘round table’ discussions to plan installation implementation.
  • Draft-up work/implementation plans that define the nature of the installation work and put safety at the forefront.
  • Working with stakeholders to minimise disruption and communicate updates to all parties.
  • Ensuring contractors deliver on-time and to budget.
  • Tracking the costs of each project and ensure any change in budget is approved.
  • Ensuring Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) are completed.
  • Conducting proactive problem solving.
  • Ensuring contractors are following electrical standards.
  • Quality control completed installations.
