Responsibilities:
- Application of business strategy to inorganic execution steps, reflecting outside-in perspective on market and competitor developments
- Responsibility for process structuring and delivery of transactions, from origination/kick-off to closing, including steering of the transaction team, business analysis, due diligence process, internal (including management and supervisory board) approvals, internal and external communications
- Transaction design and structuring including carve-out, tax, legal and financial optimisation. Finding innovative and creative solutions to complex transaction issues and challenges.
- Responsibility preparing and executing counterparty negotiations and resulting contractual terms
- Leadership of internal project workstreams (across units and departments e.g. commercial, controlling, legal, tax, accounting, etc) and external advisor support (e.g. financial, technical, legal, etc)
- Supporting the management of one or other of relevant non-core participations, including undertaking commercial, operational and financial performance assessment based on participation analysis, decision support for E.ON representatives in respective decisions bodies, determination of E.ON view on financial and operational performance
