This role is based in Michelin Corporate & Business Services in Bucharest, where more than 800 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Order to Cash, Service Management and Personnel.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong coordination and project management skills with proven prior exposure to projects at different life-cycle stages, managing complexity and dynamic delivery of initiatives;
  • Hands-on experience in creating, maintaining project governance and documentation;
  • Ability to facilitate discussions over conflicting priorities while negotiating resources & course of action; ability to make trade-offs in between short-term vs long-term needs;
  • Exposure to change management practices in medium to large scale transformation projects;
  • Proven project and program management experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Project management certification is considered an advantage;
  • English at an advanced level (French is considered a plus);
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field would be preferred;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the development of an effective planning process including the creation of an integrated project Roadmap in line with the relevant methodology;
  • Identify and schedule project key activities, deliverables, milestones, and tasks required; develop documentation for project scope and requirements;
  • Ensure all project deliverables within the portfolio are delivered within the agreed tolerance of budget, cost & quality parameters and satisfy the defined project expectations as per Project Sponsor direction;
  • Ensure all project related risks, issues, dependencies, and actions are regularly tracked, progressed and resolved via relevant governance structure in place;
  • Ensure the proper project outcome deployment and integration into the CBS ways of working by working closely with all CBS stakeholders (CBS Directors, Service Line Leads, Service Management managers, Functional managers, Subject Matter Experts etc.;
  • Develop and maintain project documentation in line with relevant methodologies & frameworks in place; prepare stage-gate documentation, act as facilitator during Steer Cos (or any other governance forums) to ensure a proper environment for decision-making, risk & issues mitigation and progression vs plans; prepare and communicate timely highlight/ progress status/exception reports, meeting minutes, RAID logs with all relevant stakeholders;
  • Ensure effective liaison with all relevant stakeholders’ part of the Project Governance (e.g. Global Process Owners, relevant Process Engineers, DOTI, Finance, Legal, Compliance etc.);
  • Act as Change Agent within the CBS community to ensure alignment, efficiency and effectiveness of the new ways of working and proper integration of the project outcomes in the day-to-day activities;
  • Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, taking ownership and accountability of the overall projects sustained progress and commitments;
  • Identify any opportunities for further improvement and mobilize the relevant stakeholders to pursue such initiatives;
  • Shape a comprehensive communication strategy to ensure effective change & communication to stakeholders about strategy, goals and initiatives to drive delivery of project outcomes.
