Project Manager Non-Tech 2

Nextant is looking for a driven Project Manager Non-Tech 2 to join our client team. The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 2-4 years experience required.
• Project management, bringing the project from end to end - 2 years
• Drive and implement a change through data - 2 years
• Implementation of change management - 2 years
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Basic knowledge of portfolio governance process design and reporting & analytics
• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Support definition of Rhythm of Business (RoB) and Rhythm of Communication (RoC) for Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) and Global Talent Acquisition Excellence (GTAE) portfolio governance
• Support delivery of RoB and RoC post-definition
• Support GTAE project intake process
• Develop and deploy portfolio governance reports (incl: managing ongoing delivery of reports)
• Define portfolio risk management process intended to proactively and consistently mitigate risks to portfolio delivery
• Identify optimization opportunities for Project Management (PM) app reporting and partner with appropriate stakeholders for deployment
• Identify optimization opportunities for project & program management framework and create associated communications/deployment plan
• Create presentation materials for assigned bodies of work
