Description:
We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic distribution team at our New Plymouth depot, overseeing projects across the beautiful Taranaki region.
As a passionate and qualified Project Manager, you will manage a variety of works across our business, ensuring they meet safety, time, and budget requirements while adhering to Northpower’s quality standards. Your role will involve scheduling, planning, and liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and design estimators to deliver cost-effective solutions, all while ensuring each and every project is delivered to the highest of standard. Reporting to the Delivery Manager - Projects, you will play a key role in achieving outstanding results for both our customers and Northpower.
Being the Project Manager, you will also be responsible for:
- Providing strong financial acumen to each project
- Taking your projects from scoping/pricing to completion
- Complete and close out projects promptly, including financial reconciliation, job files, customer documentation, and contract performance feedback
- Effectively manage customer interactions and arrangements
- Accurately scope and deliver materials and contract resources
- Manage the financial performance of active projects, including invoicing and work in progress
- Prepare and review pricing and task plans for accuracy before submission
- Occasionally support and lead design and estimating activities.
