WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 3 to 5 year’s proven experience in onshore wind or other renewables project management.
  • Degree or professional qualification in relevant engineering discipline; electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Organised, ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the enthusiasm & drive to work in a high growth environment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, share information with relevant parties.
  • Proactive and keen problem solver who can focus on appropriate detail when solving problems and propose effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with and manage BoP, EPC and ICP Contractors ensuring contractual obligations are performed and projects’ execution is always on track.
  • Manage the relationship with, and the works of the DNOs following projects handover to the company from the developer having regular meetings to coordinate technical and commercial matters related to the connection agreement.
  • Collaborating with the Developers on any pending planning matter like Non-Material Amendments.
  • Deal with Landowners for any arrangements prior to and during the construction on any complaints and claims as first point of contact.
  • Deal with Councils for any minor permits or arrangement required during the construction or on any agreements with the local communities.
  • Manage the performance of services of consultants appointed by the company to support on the execution of the projects such as Technical Advisors, Health and Safety, and Environmental.
  • Liaise internally with the operational team regarding contract documents, purchase and change orders and other contract modifications and approvals.
  • Drive all HSE, Quality, Contract, Design, Construction aspects of the projects.
  • Visit the site regularly to meet with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare the weekly and monthly project reports.
  • Act proactively Identifying any risks or opportunities that affect the programme and take actions to mitigate the risks and utilise the opportunities to benefit the project.
  • Organise any preliminary surveys to be undertaken prior to construction commencement.
