  • Set up and implement company supplier manufacturing programs & procedures according to the requirements of JBT.
  • Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) between Supplier and JBT functional groups needed to support.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Business Planning teams to identify operational capabilities necessary to profitably operationalize new product manufacturing.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality Teams in new production specifications, process setups and production test units at Supplier.
  • Review manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) by customer specification to ensure accuracy timeliness and quality of finished product.
  • Track and expedite material shortages on in-process and planned production units as needed.
  • Report constraints to meeting production timelines and provide options and/or solutions to overcome said constraints.
  • Develop flexible capacity plans with supplier to support forward looking build schedules.
  • Ensure suppliers consistently meet or exceed delivery schedules and quality standards while optimizing the Company’s capacity and logistics throughput by working closely with Quality, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain functions.
  • Ensure that suppliers’ contractual obligations are met which include production and capacity commitments, logistics obligations, raw material availability and finished goods quality.
  • Communicate and work closely with Business Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive process improvements and changes to achieve supply chain goals and profitability targets.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate suppliers’ specific KPIs that measure operational and financial performance, contract adherence, inventory policy, and supply chain continuity. Ensure suppliers have access to appropriate data to drive KPI measurement and improvement activities.
  • Facilitate and lead cross functional teams to drive resolution to systemic issues that significantly impact both the supplier and JBT.
  • Leads programs and projects using innovative, agile project management tools and techniques in the strategic development, change management and implementation of manufacturing initiatives to ensure the organization’s ability to profitably provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • In conjunction with the Finance and Costing teams, drive creation of models to aid in better understanding overall financial performance and value creation of supplier manufacturing.
  • Manage the operational execution relationships with suppliers, coordinate with JBT Leadership team to ensure long-term success.
  • Facilitate customer visits in collaboration with JBT Sales teams and suppliers.
