Description:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience in project management including resource and risk management, project governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of key program and project change methodologies.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and evaluative skills, and attention to detail.
- High level communication skills including the ability to present plans, options, updates and strategies clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain customer partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Have formal qualifications in project management or equivalent experience; and
- Be an Australian citizen; and
- Hold an AGSVA NV2 clearance or higher (or be eligible and willing to undergo the process)
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager plans and oversees projects from conception to completion within the Applied AI business unit. Reporting to the Head of Electronic Warfare Products, this role coordinates resources, manages processes and undertakes reporting to deliver quality projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes for our clients. Specifically, this role will:
- Lead the successful delivery of complex projects and provide expert advice and strategic input to the development of project deliverables.
- Manage project scope, deliverables, risks, quality, roadblocks, success measures, schedules, resources and costs in line with business objectives.
- Apply appropriate project management tools and techniques to create, maintain and distribute project status and governance documentation per contractual requirements.
- Initiate, influence and maintain open communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved and project management capability is maintained through leading, managing, and directing multi-disciplinary teams.
