We’re looking for a bright and motivated individual, someone who is ready to contribute to our growth. As the ideal candidate, you will perform and manage building science investigations, undertake new construction and remediation design, and conduct on-site inspection and reporting services for Pinchin’s comprehensive client base.
The Project Manager will oversee projects, provide technical leadership for a team of support staff, and facilitate continued growth and expansion of the Building Science and Sustainability Group.

Responsibilities:

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ROLE

  • Manage project work, investigations, building assessments, regulatory instruments, training, and quality assurance
  • Assign, collect and coordinate appropriate project resources (i.e. equipment, tools, materials, documentation, people etc.)
  • Challenging work with a diverse group of national, regional, and local clients
  • Performing a variety of building science assessments and overseeing projects through to successful completion
  • Building your leadership and mentorship skills by working with junior staff and a support team on projects
  • Partnering with finance and administration support staff to address the financial aspects of project work

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AT PINCHIN

  • Perform building science assessments and lead investigations
  • Design and oversee building envelope restoration and new construction
  • Schedule and conduct site visits and inspections
  • Review construction work and report on progress and quality assurance
  • Collate, interpret, and analyze data in relation to regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Coordinate permit application activities and duties
  • Schedule and supervise sub-contractors and liaise between clients and subcontractors
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
  • Participate in business development and marketing to new and existing clients
  • Foster and maintain long-term client relationships
