Summary::
Seeking experienced IT Project Manager to be part of a management team on a large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project from planning to implementation. The Senior PM will report to a Sr. Program Manager, and will work closely with the customer, contractors, and vendors to define business requirements, track deliverable status, monitor project schedules, and validate service provider invoices.
This role encompasses a full Enterprise Resource Planning system migration to include multiple data sets, modules, and tracks. To ensure a seamless migration, it will be vital to have detailed project and risk management plans and consistent review and validation of business/functional/technical requirements. This candidate must utilize leadership and organizational skills, be an effective communicator, and be comfortable managing consultancy relationships in a remote work structure.

Responsibilities::

  • Direct and oversee completion of enterprise integration project, providing technical and analytical guidance to program and project teams
  • Accountable for entire project aligning to organizational goals and objectives, closely monitoring all project lifecycle phases, resources, budget, and implementation
  • Develop scope statements and manage scope, including schedule, resources, and work plan
  • Oversee project impact and interdependencies between programs
  • Assist IT Leadership with needs analysis of relevant business areas, matching user needs to system capabilities, and ensuring solution is efficiently integrated
  • Assess project risks and potential organization/project implications, recommend risk mitigations, and establish contingency plans
  • Manage work and inputs from multiple stakeholders, interfacing and communicating regularly to identify changing business requirements
  • Implement established policies, as well as system monitors and controls ensuring successful management and reporting of all project initiatives
  • Translate generalized customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategy and tactical plans
  • Monitor and communicate status, report on project status, risks, issues, and budget during weekly/monthly status meetings
  • Develop transition activities, rollout schedules, and manage work activities to ensure schedule conformity
  • Integrate change management and change control practices
  • Manage development of program-level schedules to integrate efforts between individual projects

Qualifications::

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an enterprise wide Enterprise Resource Planning system
  • Demonstrated proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, 365, and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage, schedule, and organize all aspects of a project
  • Experience with Lawson or Oracle preferred
  • PMP certification
  • Strong communication skills
