This impressive client side organisation has a substantial capital works budget with a portfolio of major and minor capital projects that requires an experienced Project Manager to deliver. Projects may range from $1m to $15m+ and typically involve development around community hubs ie buildings, infrastructure, physical planning solutions.
This role involves managing several projects at any one time, each with their own consultant design and delivery teams. Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide adequate resourcing and ensure compliance in the design and delivery of multiple complex projects
- Implement appropriate procurement methods for bespoke projects
- Prepare contract documentation and be responsible for management of commercial/ legal negotiations
- Provide regular management reports on the progress of projects for internal and external stakeholders
- Build effective relationships with consultant partners to ensure high quality outcomes
You will ideally have tertiary qualifications in architecture, building, project management, engineering or a related discipline with substantial experience in the management and delivery of large scale built form projects using D&C and ECI models. Well developed communication and negotiation skills and the ability to develop sound working relationships with a range of stakeholders is required.
