ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting new role for an experienced Project Manager – Property to join the Group Property Team us on a full time permanent basis reporting into the Group Property Manager.
The role focuses on managing real estate focused projects within VWG’s Group Property function and has a broad and varied remit across an interesting and varied portfolio.
Some of the key activities in this role will be managing the varied aspects of Group Property projects across our varied and diverse portfolio. These locations include our Head Office and our National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. You will also manage property projects in our retail portfolio buildings across the country as well as our distribution centre and coastal ports in Grimsby, Tyne and Sheerness from time to time.
This is a diverse and varied role and includes project managing major HQ refurbishments and ongoing asset replacement projects, national signage and corporate identity programmes and the opportunity to get involved with transactional project management of major portfolio restricting projects.
You will manage end to end projects in the areas of facilities management, estates management, corporate identity, fitout and refurbishment, capital expenditure and longer-term strategic projects ranging from £0.1m to £4.0m.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Strong organisational and project management skills with sound experience of managing property related projects
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and able to work on your own initiative
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to effectively engage and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders through presentation and influencing skills as well as the ability to manage suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Good commercial and financial acumen including the ability to negotiate commercial contracts
