By constant innovation during the years, BASF A/S Ballerup has developed a unique powder formulation technology. We are specialized in microencapsulated formulations of vitamins and carotenoids mainly for the beverage, food, and pharmaceutical industries. BASF A/S Ballerup employs approximately 135 employees in Production, QA, QC, R&D, EHS, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics and Administration.
Our work in microencapsulated formulations extends beyond borders, as we are engaged in food fortification projects in over 40 countries, aiming to improve nutrition and contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals, including zero hunger, reduced inequalities, decent work and economic growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MSc/PhD in natural sciences or a related field.
  • Experience in project management is highly beneficial.
  • Strong energy, passion for learning, and a team player mentality.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including MS Teams, Excel, and Word.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, Danish is a plus.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional global research projects in the development of powder formulations and processes.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams, providing necessary expertise to ensure scientifically sound data-based decisions.
  • Propose and work on ideas for development activities within existing and new areas.
  • Monitor the literature and patent landscape within the business area.
