Job Responsibilities :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in the IT industry to oversee various projects at different stages, related to software development, release management, and application lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with product development teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Manage project execution according to predefined milestone dates, ensuring adherence to quality standards and budget constraints.
Coordinate with different teams including Product Managers, Development team, and Customer Advocacy to gather and triage open beta feedback.
Develop and implement strategies to address end user feedback and improve software quality.
Monitor and track progress of end user feedback resolution, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Communicate progress and risks of end user feedback to stakeholders and senior management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a sunset plan outlining tasks, dependencies, and timelines.
Communicate sunset plan and implications to customers.
Monitor progress of sunset activities, addressing challenges and mitigating risks as needed.
Conduct post-sunset reviews to evaluate the success of the transition and identify lessons learned for future projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8 to 10 years of experience in IT industry, with at least 3 years in Project Management, with a focus on software development, release management and sunset process.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Prior experience in JIRA/Confluence is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form, as well as proficiency in documentation.
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
