Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple custom residential projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project estimates, budgets, and client selections.
  • Manage trade and supplier quotes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, trades, architects, designers, and clients.
  • Utilize project management software to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Manage preconstruction meetings and strategize on kickoff dates.
  • Lead development of schedules.
  • Communicate with clients on a frequent basis to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate trades and suppliers.
  • Monitor quality of work to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Attend production meetings and address and resolve project issues.
  • Ensure on-site health and safety procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of custom home building project management experience.
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or related is an asset.
  • Ability to understand and review blueprints, drawings and permits.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience utilizing construction management software.
  • Ability to lead and guide teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
