Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple custom residential projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project estimates, budgets, and client selections.
- Manage trade and supplier quotes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, trades, architects, designers, and clients.
- Utilize project management software to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Manage preconstruction meetings and strategize on kickoff dates.
- Lead development of schedules.
- Communicate with clients on a frequent basis to ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate trades and suppliers.
- Monitor quality of work to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
- Attend production meetings and address and resolve project issues.
- Ensure on-site health and safety procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of custom home building project management experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or related is an asset.
- Ability to understand and review blueprints, drawings and permits.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience utilizing construction management software.
- Ability to lead and guide teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
