Description:

Risk Strategies Consulting (RSC) is looking for a Project Manager who can support our clients with project management needs.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a highly organized, dedicated, and understand the fundamental principles of project management. The project manager will be responsible for developing detailed project plans and coordinating with internal team members, external vendors, and clients to ensure flawless organization and timely deliverables to the client. The role will serve as the Project Lead’s right hand in executing client deliverables.
The candidate must have a proactive approach to work, a problem-solving aptitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging industry practices. The candidate will be motivated, well-organized, and a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The candidate will be required to develop strong working relationships with clients and team members. The ideal candidate will bring a flexible, positive, and solutions-oriented mindset to all aspects of the role. The candidate will lean into and become immersed in our fast-paced and growing environment to gain and maintain an solid understanding of internal operational strategy and process management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop detailed project plans with clear guidance, task assignments, and required timelines.
  • Take ownership of projects and initiatives, carefully tracking and understanding business requirements, timing, risks, issues, decisions, interdependencies, and milestones.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with internal and external partners across varying areas of focus and amongst different stakeholders.
  • Utilize excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Effectively problem solve and adjust timelines within the project as needed when unforeseen circumstances arise, while keeping the end product timeline on track.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for day-to-day account management of client needs and deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, insurance, human resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a project management role.
  • PMP certification or other project management related education or training.
  • Expertise in project management with demonstrated experience and the ability to drive complex projects to completion.
  • Expertise with project management software (i.e., we use Monday.com).
  • Proven success in process improvement, change management, and project development.
  • Experience working with internal and/or external clients.
  • Healthcare experience (PBM, Healthcare Technology, Health Plan, Health System) with a thorough understanding of general health care concepts is a plus.
  • Experience in working with Health, Welfare, and Retirement employee benefits is a plus.

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $75,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
