What are we looking for in our Project Manager?
Exciting Career Opportunity: Project Manager in the Biopharmaceutical Industry in Dublin - 12 months contract - €72/hour pay rate.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead the execution and management of a diverse array of projects across Manufacturing, Labs, Process, Utilities, and Automation/IT systems. This contract position plays a crucial role in steering projects from initiation to closeout at a leading biopharmaceutical facility.
Role Overview: As the Project Manager, you will report directly to the Projects Programme Manager and manage a portfolio of strategic projects, including manufacturing process projects supporting tech transfers and plant optimizations, equipment and capacity upgrades, and various projects across manufacturing and utilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Automation/Process Engineering with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience across the project life cycle within a pharmaceutical environment.
Demonstrable capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion - CV must show this.
Experience managing the overall financial performance of engineering projects, including cash flow, life cycle costs, business opportunities and risks, both at a project and at a portfolio level

Responsibilities:

Manage key project deliverables including safety, financial management, schedule, and scope across multiple complex projects.
Ensure project compliance with engineering best practices, company policies, regulations, and codes.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment and support for project deliverables.
Lead project teams through complex and significant projects, mentoring junior PMs within the group.
Oversee financial management of projects, including budget development, cost management, and negotiation with contractors and suppliers.
Utilize planning tools to keep projects on schedule and manage external factors such as inspections.
Perform risk management by identifying project risks and developing action plans to mitigate them.
Generate and execute detailed project plans, manage procurement, and oversee the startup and commissioning of project equipment and systems.
Complete Project Close-out according to project management principles.
