Our ambitious and innovative projects (all 5000+ of them) help to combat the challenges of waste and water infrastructure, flooding, and water quality. Be a part of something bringing benefits to our communities, health outcomes and environment. It could be the biggest challenge of your career.
If you want to do more because you care, we’d love to talk to you. There really is something for everyone here.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Delivery team which is based in our Finham (Coventry) office and working in the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire regions.
Reporting directly to the Lead Project Manager, the Project Manager will be accountable for delivering on key project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction water treatment projects.
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role to make sure projects stay on track, are delivered on time, within cost, and focusing on the quality of the project.
You’ll manage several projects at any one time, in line with risk mitigation and financially track the progress whilst managing budgets, as well as this you’ll work collaboratively with our in-house design engineers, PMO team and Commercial team functions, as well as monitor performance against project programmes.
Responsibilities:
You’ll ideally be degree qualified in a technical engineering discipline, qualified or working towards Chartered Engineer status and have a qualification in APM or PRINCE2. Ideally you will have experience in managing consultants and working on NEC contracts.
You’ll be a forward thinking and innovative Project Manager capable of managing multiple multi-million pound capital engineering and construction projects using a gated project delivery process. You will either be an accredited NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager or have extensive experience of managing projects under NEC3 or NEC4 Conditions of Contract, with a proven track record of cost planning, management, and budgetary responsibility. You will have awareness of CDM and have an appropriate CSCS Card.
You will be a dynamic and collaborative leader with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds, and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity, and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We want people who show up and get involved. Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care. Is that you?
