ABOUT YOUR SKILLS:

  • University degree in business administration or Information Technology
  • Formal project management training and certification - PMP certified not mandatory but recommended. Experience managing Finance ERP projects.
  • Proficient in agile methodology and experience working as a Scrum Master on DevOps projects.
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects of varying sizes, complexities, budgets, and deliverables within a corporate environment – ideally Finance.
  • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with Finance Operations and Transformations.
  • Interest in IT-Solution and Air Transport Industry (ATI)
  • Strong understanding of financial management processes including budgeting, forecasting, reporting & operations (i.e. Financial Systems)
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 (particularly Excel / PowerPoint / MS Teams)

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the success of one or more internal projects, delivering the agreed scope on time, on budget, and at the targeted quality level.
The Project Manager will be a member of the small, central Project Office which drives and supports a wide range of initiatives that meet the needs of the IS Department. Must-Win battles by providing value-added project structure and governance as well as hands-on project management and other assistance.
The Office works on high-impact, high-visibility projects and interacts generally under the sponsorship of the IS Management team located worldwide.
This role would suit someone who is looking to expand their experience in supporting multiple transformation initiatives and to gain a broad overview of the corporate/finance environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

This role offers a range of responsibilities and possibilities within the Project Office to support the must-win battles of IS and bring coordinated success to our Operating Plans:

  • Working with IS Management: You are committed to putting the sponsor of your project or workstream first by proactively ensuring that each project goal and objective is met with satisfaction.
  • Managing Financial Systems Projects (ERP): Project size will vary in scope and complexity. You manage the project throughout the life cycle - from initiation through project closure. You deliver results to stakeholders, manage risks. Attention to detail, effective time management, and influencing people skills are key ingredients to be successful in managing financial systems projects within IS.
  • Supporting Finance Department Projects: You will work on projects that directly support the finance department, ensuring that financial operations and processes are optimized and effectively managed.
  • Proficient in Agile Methodology and Scrum Master Experience: You will apply your proficiency in agile methodology and ability to work as a Scrum Master on DevOps projects, ensuring that agile practices are effectively implemented and followed.
  • Working with Project Teams: Every project is completed through team effort. You will work with your Sponsor to establish and work effectively with team members that may be local or distant. You regularly track project activities against plans and take corrective action on any deviations, communicating to team members, Project Office management, and stakeholders.
  • Project Administration: Your ability to write clearly and simply are key skills to documenting project activities. Documentation ranges from project plans, scope and approach you will select with your sponsor, deliverable presentations, status reports in line with agreed templates, submitting and tracking change requests, tracking risks and issues, Steering Committee reports, and proposal for approval.
