Your responsibilities- Lead and manage projects, work teams (including external advisors) and group activities focusing on the Queensland Government’s priorities, particularly those relating to the Queensland Battery and Critical Minerals industries- Provide advice on supply chain gaps and opportunities, and work collaboratively across government, industry and with individual clients to identify and catalysesolutions- Undertake effective stakeholder management and client engagement particularly with industry to identify and address emerging issues and opportunities, includingmanaging competing work unit priorities- Prepare high quality reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, policy, presentations, documents, publications and correspondence- Foster a culture of teamwork that values performance, superior client service, a shared purpose and strong team culture, continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services.

This includes initiatives that develop and promote the international competitiveness and capability of Queensland’s defence, aerospace, space, superyachts, hydrogen, biofutures, biomedical, mining equipment, technology and services, and resource recovery industries.You will be learning new stuff every day! The State Development regional teams across Queensland coordinate the delivery of initiatives such as departmental programs and workshops, to link industry and regional business and grow regional supply chains and productivity. The regional teams engage with regional stakeholders and works with regional economic development partners to support and advocate for the strategic delivery of regional economic priorities. They lead place-based developments and economic and industry strategies. They are also the Local Economic Opportunities Network (LEO) representatives, and they support state and local governments in responses to adverse events.
