As a Project Manager the successful candidate will be required to deliver various projects ranging from fit out and refurbishment to mechanical and electrical upgrades across the MOD estate. Works are delivered on an occupied customer site, high profile with significant security implications and requirements for deliverables.
Projects will range from 25K up to 3million in value, with differing levels of complexity and unique requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Demonstratable experience of managing projects
Evidence of supply chain and customer management.
Evidence of utilising safe systems of work, H&S management and performance management.
H&S qualifications, SMSTS or similar with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
Degree qualification in building/electrical/mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
Membership of accredited professional body (MCIOB, APM, WIFM)
Excellent organisation skills including time management and self-motivation.
Experience of customer facing stakeholder management.
Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
Experience of Microsoft Office, teams, sharepoint and CAFM.
Must hold a full current UK driving licence
HNC/D level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
Security clearance is required for our sites, successful applicants will be expected to achieve either BPSS or SC clearance as a condition of appointment into the role.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our development pipeline, supporting projects at every stage. Successful applicants will be required to assist in the following tasks:
Drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring appropriate risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Day-to-day management of the delivery of projects including subcontract management and liaison.
Planning, supporting, and managing the delivery of appropriate reports, programmes & progress updates.
Working with commercial colleagues to provide pricing, budget costs and financial management of works throughout delivery.
Managing and supporting both customer and client in the progression of scope, priorities, and programmed delivery.
Provide solutions and options for problem solving project delivery and customer issues.
Ensuring site safety, health and safety and environmental management for both customer and supply chain.
Developing excellent working relationships with the client, site teams and supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction and continued improvement of delivery.
Manage task administration within Maximo and ensure appropriate sign off/compliance.
