Description:

A Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers and planning the project schedules. Their duties include setting deadlines, providing feedback and communicating with clients about the status of their project.

  • Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
  • Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers
  • Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
  • Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • At least three years related experience in project management, planning, and tracking
  • Experience working with business stakeholders in related industries
  • Experience with and understanding of full project or product lifecycle
  • Proficiency with project management tools and related technology
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations

Other important qualifications and skills are:

  • Experience in different project management methodologies
  • Experience gathering requirements, business analysis, and documentation
  • Experience coaching and team building
  • Achieving balance of and the right priority from multiple simultaneous projects
  • Obtaining project management professional certification(s)
