Job Title: Electrical Project Manager
Location: Anchorage, AK (Position requires Travel)
Reports to: Senior Project Manager (Electrical)
Salary Range: $125k - $155k

WHAT YOU WILL NEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

Duties:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing electrical engineering aspects of diverse projects within the water, wastewater, irrigation, structural, transportation, and civil engineering domains.
  • Perform electrical design and analysis, including power distribution systems, lighting, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Act as point of contact for GC’s/clients.
  • Preform and provide estimates, ordering and scheduling of materials to site.
  • Manage electrical design projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Regularly travel to construction sites to perform quality and progress monitoring, as well as to attend meetings or field work to maintain the highest standards in project deliverables.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, and progress reports.
  • Participate in daily/weekly performance meetings with senior management and board of directors.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited electrical engineering or related program.
  • A self-starter, self-motivated individual that can accomplish complex task with minimal oversight.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with emphasis on industrial electrical design and building electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and analysis tools.
  • Coordinate electrical plans for PCIS and SCADA related projects with controls engineers.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven demonstration of work ethic, dependability and reliability.
  • Willing to step outside of your comfort zone and spearhead complex projects and challenges.
  • System diagrams, loop diagrams, block diagrams, and network diagrams.Experience working with Primavera P6.

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will work in a leadership role to ensure success at all levels of the day to day operations of our company. Specifically, you will operate as the point of contact on all assigned projects in a lead role. This position will require travel throughout Alaska (North Slope, Remote and Bush Projects) and occasionally travel to the lower 48 (Texas).
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and other technical professionals, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the clients’ needs and regulatory requirements.
