FASS are currently recruiting for a Project Officer / Executive Assistant (EA) to join the FASS Executive Support Team, supporting the Associate Deans for Teaching and Learning and Researchon a fixed-term basis for 12 months. The Project Officer / EA works closely with the Faculty Executive to support specific portfolio-related projects and special events. The position holder will liaise with faculty staff to support and coordinate projects and project committees as required. The position holder is also responsible for the provision of efficient administrative support to the members of the faculty Executive on a day-to-day basis. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work from home for 2 days with the remaining 3 days working on campus. If successful in applying for this role, your responsibilities will include:• Coordinating activities and providing executive support to strategic projects across two Faculty Executive portfolios• Executing project tasks and ensuring project team members meet their assigned deadlines for tasks• Performing administrative tasks for the assigned executive staff member including diary management, correspondence, records management, presentations, reports, and travel• Participating in and providing secretariat support to faculty committees including taking minutes, researching topics and following up action items• Building and maintaining constructive relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring a high level of professionalism As the ideal candidate, you will possess:• Demonstrated superior and effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a range of staff at various levels across the faculty and the University• Demonstrated ability to collect, summarise, analyse and report data in a clear and efficient manner• Previous experience in a similar role as a Project Coordinator or supporting a senior faculty academic or executive• Demonstrated experience in a secretariat role with the ability to prepare meeting agendas; taking minutes, conducting research for meetings, preparing background briefings and following up actions arising out of meetings• A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist experience or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
REMUNERATIONBase Salary Range: $91,254 to $98,805 pa (HEW 6) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months
