The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of novel plasmonic materials and SERS platform of high enhancement factor to achieve strong signal and enhance analytical performance;
• Constructing machine learning model for qualitative and quantitative analysis of gaseous samples. The main tasks involve
• nanomaterial synthesis and assembly
• constructing a model using programming software such as Python for spectra analysis

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry
• Strong background in nanochemistry, computational chemistry and machine learning.
• Strong lab skills
• Competent in data analysis
• Experience in a plasmonics lab with strong background in SERS platform development
• Have knowledge on synthesis of nanoparticles, fabrication to produce SERS platform and the functionalization
