Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

To ensure the successful development and delivery of our training portfolio by supporting the UKRN (www.ukrn.org) Open Research Programme (ORP) training team of academic and professional staff, and by building and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders including staff at other universities and training providers in the UK and internationally. This is a key role to the successful delivery of a project shaping the future of open research skills across the UK academic sector.
The ORP training project takes a ‘train-the-trainer’ approach, and is identifying priorities, working with providers to develop, deliver and evaluate training, and nurturing a national community of training practitioners across the 24 partner institutions. It is also collaborating with many other bodies that are working in similar areas.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be working in partnership with key (internal and external) stakeholders to co-ordinate resource allocation, work scheduling and provide advice and support to all those linked to the UKRN Open Research Programme training project acting as a focal point for receiving and distributing information.
You will also be providing support for the UKRN Open Research Programme training project activity using University systems to provide information and data as needed.
Specifically, you will be working with the training team, programme partners and third parties to develop information and advice on training priorities, and you will be supporting the training team in developing training offers and community activities to meet those priorities.
