Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Digital Business Solutions, you will work with key stakeholders to support the successful delivery of ICT projects.
You will use your project management, liaison and strong relationship management skills to act as the conduit between the department’s business areas and our primary ICT provider, the Department of Parliamentary Services’ (DPS) Information Services Division. You will use a variety of skills, tools and techniques to clarify and define business problems or opportunities, initiate and manage small-to-medium projects, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
The Project Officer helps facilitate and translate the department’s business needs and goals to provide a clear understanding and vision for ICT projects. In the role, you will:
- liaise with DPS Information Services Division to implement improvements that fully meet business requirements now and into the future, and
- act as a translator between departmental staff and ICT service providers.
