Description:

The role In this role, you will be responsible for adhering to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality and safe services and workplaces. You will provide business-as-usual support for the systems managed by the Analytics and Systems Unit, including the RiskMan application and Inform My Care, produce accurate and timely patient safety and quality statistical reports, and participate in relevant projects carried out by Clinical Excellence Queensland and Hospital and Health Services (HHSs). Additionally, you will assist with system administration tasks, provide necessary training and support to stakeholders, and work within multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines.
A crucial part of this role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, utilising ethical decision-making to achieve organisational goals, and proactively continuing to develop your own technical knowledge and expertise. By maintaining these relationships and supporting continuous improvement, you will help drive the success of various initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing patient safety and quality within the healthcare system.
The successful personTo excel in this role, you will need proven expertise in utilising information technology systems for data collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination, along with providing user support. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to effectively consult with internal staff, external organisations, and professional groups, as well as possessing excellent report writing abilities.
Moreover, you should have demonstrated project management skills, including prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and achieving goals. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team is also crucial for success in this position.
