Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore invites applications for the position of Project Officer/ Research Associate (Software Engineer).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development for at least 2 years, with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate skills in AI and data science.
• Expertise in programming languages commonly used in data science and software development, such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a strong plus.
• Experience working with medical data or in a healthcare-related field is highly relevant.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to healthcare data is a strong point.

• Document and maintain software functionalities, development processes, and user guides.
