The Resilient Sydney Office is seeking a Project Officer - Resilient Sydney to support implementation of the Resilient Sydney Strategy and activities of the Resilient Sydney Office. The successful applicant will be responsible for high quality engagement, project management and relationship management with council officers, external organisations and internal stakeholders by providing quality administration support, technical support, and communications support for engagement, data collection and analysis, contract management, relationship network management and evaluation and reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications in business, media and communications, social sciences, resilience or sustainability or equivalent, excellent interpersonal skills, including experience dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders, proven organisation and administration skills including managing databases and dashboards, experience coordinating engagement activities and production of communication materials along with maturity, flexibility, discretion and judgement, and the ability to work under pressure in order to meet conflicting deadlines.
At the City of Sydney you’ll join a dedicated team where individual effort is part of something much bigger – creating great things for our city’s dynamic future.
