ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

The Project control discipline in Renewables is a competence and resource unit with responsibilities within project control management, planning and progress, cost control, project accounting, and project control of contracts.

  • The Planner is responsible for the planning function within the sub project or at contract level in the project.
  • The Planner reports to Planner Lead in the project.
  • The Planner shall be proactive and ensure that the sub project or Contractor has sufficient planning systems and procedures that ensure consistent planning in accordance with governing documents.
  • The Planner shall manage the sub-project or contract planning in cooperation with Planner Lead.
  • Ensure the quality of Contract Master Schedule, Contractor Detail Schedule and Contract Detailed Work Element Schedules
  • Follow up of the contract during the contract period and attend meetings as applicable.
  • Progress control including float, efficiency, productivity measurement, trend, and analysis for the contract.
  • Ensure input to monthly report.
  • Ensure contract administration related to schedules.
  • Secure relevant input from project control for Contract Appendixes for ITT’s in line with the project control requirements.
  • Ensure risk management of the contract associated with project planning.
  • Support Planner Lead and Project Control Manager in preparation of updated schedules in baseline updates.
  • Secure cross-functional collaboration and coordination between the project, Product Lines, Regions, operations, contractor’s planning functions and other relevant functions.
  • Contribute to making REN a learning organisation and secure relevant experience transfer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Commercial mind-set, proactive, analytical and solution oriented , self-driven
  • Organized, structured, hands-on, collaborative, communication skills
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools and SAFRAN
  • Minimum 10 Years experience from planning task, where experience from execution will be considered advantageous
  • Adhoc travelling to be expected.
