In our Electric Vehicle Systems business line (EVS) we develop and manufacture battery systems from 48V up to High Voltage for automotive and industrial applications. Valmet Automotive covers the full range from contract manufacturing to a TIER1 system supplier.

Here’s where you’ll make an impact:

• Management of project quality in development projects with the technical lead of the quality functions in all project phases
• Quality planning, testing and monitoring the status in the development phase for Set-parts and directed parts
• Implement efficient quality-tools in Prototype-phase and control the part-quality, in case of deviation put in some countermeasures and track them
• Matching customer quality requirements of the project to Valmet Automotive requirements
• Follow-up of the planned measures (e.g. LOP) and ensuring on-time completion
• Organizing and planning of appointments with affected colleagues in different locations including key suppliers
• Moderate the completion of various customer and internal QM documents (e.g. SC/CC, P-FMEA, Control Plan, 8D etc.) and presentations
• Report the status of the quality figures in the development project as well as deriving and monitoring measures
• Preparation and follow-up of internal and customer appointments / audits for quality topics

We hope that you would have:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electronics or similar
• At least 5 years’ experience in Project or Supplier quality or relevant areas
• Knowledge of quality control methods, tools and techniques
• Experience on APQP methodology
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3 Process Audit
• Innovative and strategic thinking style with strong problem-solving skills
• Capability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Fluent English is a must and German or Finnish language is an asset
• Willingness to travel

Location for this position is Salo or Uusikaupunki in Finland or Kirchardt in Germany.
