Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join a dynamic team for an Infrastructure Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the current project schedule, preparing a comprehensive Program View of all sub-projects for the Executive team, and providing insights on potential project slippage. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project scheduling software.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Schedule Maintenance: Manage and update the existing project schedule for the Tram Infrastructure Project, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project timelines and objectives.
  • Program View Preparation: Develop and maintain a Program View of all sub-projects within the Tram Infrastructure Project, providing a clear and concise pictorial representation of milestones and dependencies for the Executive team.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor project progress against the schedule, identify any deviations or potential slippage, and provide timely reports and analysis to project stakeholders.
  • Risk Assessment: Proactively identify scheduling risks and constraints, and work collaboratively with project teams to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Gantt Chart Creation: Prepare detailed Gantt charts and other visual aids to communicate project schedules, milestones, and critical paths effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between scheduling activities and project objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in project review meetings to gather feedback and identify opportunities for process improvement in scheduling and project management practices.
