CatholicCare’s Permanency Support Program (PSP) listens to the voices of young people in our care, recognises their uniqueness and tailor’s responses to their individual needs. We build safe and engaged pathways through our broad suite of services and develop strong links to communities that support our young people beyond the bounds of Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC).

ABOUT THE ROLE:
If you are a passionate Project Officer or Coordinator and love seeing projects from start to finish then we have an exiting role for you! This opportunity calls for a skilled, organised, and proactive Project Support Officer to join our well-established and supportive team in West Gosford. The main objective of the role is to coordinate various projects that are part of our strategic business initiatives and quality assurance requirements, aimed at improving our service delivery within our program.
The successful incumbent will be supporting the PSP Management Team with a number of exciting quality & service improvement projects. This will include preparing various project-related resources, project tracking, resource allocation and administration. This role is also a key contact for PSP and will be involved in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure project progression and compliance requirements.
Utilising and implementing project management methodologies and processes in all projects will be integral to your role, ensuring successful project outcomes and alignment with organisational objectives.
This role needs someone intrinsically motivated who can be trusted to work autonomously with up to 2 days working from home per week considered. This role is permanent full-time role, however part-time hours (4 days per week) or 5 days at shorter hours can be considered (Example 9:30am-3:30pm). Office days will be based at West Gosford.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, Business or Project Management or relevant demonstrated experience of successfully delivering projects.
- Understanding of project management practices and their application.
- Desirable knowledge of the Community Services sector or Non-for-Profit industry (not essential).
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, ability to work in multifaceted teams and juggle multiple competing priorities.
- High level of oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to prioritise and self-manage workload responsibly, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be a self-starter, and bring your ideas and initiatives to the table.
