Description:

Severfield Nuclear and Infrastructure have an exciting opportunity for a Projects Associate Director to join the division, based at our office in Lostock, Bolton. The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the Project Management Function and ensure the successful delivery of projects within Severfield Nuclear and Infrastructure.
This successful candidate will need to have a broad perspective on all aspects of project delivery. They should have extensive experience and ability to lead at the highest level. The role will require taking the necessary actions to ensure that contractual requirements are met and that the business interests are protected. They will contribute to the strategy and budget planning of the department and the business unit, ensuring that these are both delivered successfully.
Furthermore, they will not only be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, but also developing relationships with new clients to secure further work.

The role will involve full management responsibility and oversight of the projects team working on the contract in all aspects of the following items, but not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that safety, health, and environment is managed appropriately.
  • Meet and develop relationships to manage client expectations.
  • Guidance to ensure budgets are controlled.
  • Necessary actions to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Promote business development.
  • Selection and appointment of new team members as required.
  • Ensure that correct liaison is maintained within the organisation and manage as required.
