EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in project management – manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in rubber and PE foam extrusion a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • AutoCad proficiency
  • Proficiency in MS Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Requires excellent project management skills.
  • Process Engineering experience a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans; conferring with the Engineering Manager.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Manufacturing support, Process improvements, Kaizan type events etc.
  • Tool and Die design (3D CAD)
  • Work with and Support the Maintenance Department with Technical issues and Small Projects.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, safety rules and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
